Hello! My name is Charlotte. I am 20 years old, and I am a student at Millersville University, studying Animal Behavior Biology. My life was turned around in February of 2013 when I became seriously ill, and began this roller coaster of a journey
I have Gastroparesis, Pan-Intestinal Dysmotility, Dysautonomia/Postural Orthostatic Tachycardic Syndrome (POTS), Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome (SMA Syndrome), Autonomic Neuropathy, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Celiac Disease, Asthma and Irritable Bowel Syndrome, but we are still searching for answers. Currently I am being treated at Johns Hopkins, and have had a lot of success there. I currently am dependent on a GJ-Tube and Central line for nutrition, IV fluids and TPN
It has been one hell of a journey, with more ups and downs than I can count. What has been important to me in the last few years was making something good out of all of this. And that is when the Green Feathers Project was born. I have found so much joy and purpose in this project, and it is truly what gives me the strength to keep going.
